Tartaruga had a dream. He dreamed of a tree which was in a secret place. On the branches of the tree grew all the fruits of the earth: bananas, dates, coconuts, melons, millet, sweet potatoes, manioc and many more.
Tartaruga told his dream to the other animals, but they all laughed: "It is just a dream" they said "No", replied Tartaruga, "I am sure that it really exists. I will go to Nonna Koko and she will be able to tell me where it grows". "Wait! I will go, you are too slow!" said the monkey and it set off.
But dreams need to be believed in completely to come true. And, above all, you don't need to be in a hurry! Tartaruga knew this all too well. And Tartaruga waited with his well-known patience, so at the end..
The story of this magnificent tree comes from Africa a continent which we all dream about, a land which we imagine to be full of colors, sounds and rhythms, of an exuberant and vital nature. And this is the way we want to tell the story, with liveliness and lots of music, as in a dream.
The protagonists are the animals of the Savannah, represented by the puppets animated on sight. The music is played live on African rhythms and instruments, full of energy, able to engage spectators of all ages.
