CAPANNE DI COSOLA
Recommended destination for trekking lovers or for those who wish to spend a day relaxing in the unspoilt woods of Val Borbera. You will be in a traditional mountain shelter (at an altitude of 1500 metres) along the ancient Salt route, exactly at the intersection point of the provinces of Alessandria, Pavia, Genoa and Piacenza. These territorial influences are expressed in the food: potato ravioli with braised meat, potato dumplings with pesto, "pisarei e fasò"; the dishes made with local ingredients are highly recommended: fagiolane of Val Borbera, quarantine potatoes and Montebore cheese, fruits of the forest. The shelter also avails of a dozen bedrooms.
