1st day Acqui Terme, city chosen by the ancient Romans as holiday destination for its thermal springs. The heart of the city, with a precious historic Liberty centre, is the Bollente fountain (hot spring), where wellness water gushes out at over 50°C. Check in to Hotel. Welcome drink and visit to the Regional Wine Shop of Brachetto and Dolcetto d’Acqui.

2nd day Panoramic tour between the Hills of Dolcetto d’Acqui to arrive in the territory of the Brachetto where the production techniques of the main wines of Piedmont are explained in the cellars of Marenco. A wine tasting session will be followed by a guided tour of the cellars and the Estate's vineyards. Lunch in the area, followed by a delightful walk in the characteristic Medieval Village of Rocca Grimalda with an unspoilt historic centre that preserves the church of the year 1000 and the Castle of 1200. Possibility to visit the Ethno-Anthropological Workshop and the only Mask Museum in Italy;

Return to Hotel and overnight accommodation.

3rd day tour of the historic centre of Acqui Terme, the Castle of the Paleologi now home to the Roman Archaeology Museum and Bird garden, the Cathedral of San Guido, the streets and squares full of civil and religious monuments dating back to medieval times. 

In the afternoon, visit to Ponzone to taste one of the delights of these areas i.e. the superb “filetto baciato” salami. To finish, a visit to an outstanding distillery known as the “shrine of the spirit” in Silvano d’Orba.
