Memories and comparisons": the Flemish of the Doria Pamphilj collection in precious images

The handcrafted replicas of the “Flemish paintings Doria Pamphilj” come from the Floridi Doria Pamphilj collections housed in the Doria Pamphilj Gallery of Rome, one of the most prestigious private Italian collections of antique art. This project allows the circulation of images crafted with digital loyalty starting from the Brueghel originals (Pieter the Elder, Jan the Elder and Pieter the Younger). The works, together with the "Lamentation of Christ with a donor" by Hans Memling, are an extraordinary snapshot of 16th and 17th century Flemish painting. The exhibition running in Garbagna from 1 to 26 September falls within the programme of cultural events of the newly-formed Associazione Genius Loci Floridi Doria Pamphilj. The project spans from the Alps to the Ligurian Apennines: Stellanello, Camporosso, Isolabona, Dolceacqua, Finale Ligure, Montebruno, San Sebastiano Curone and Ottone are the villages which, alongside Garbagna, have taken part in the programme of the Associazione Genius Loci Floridi Doria Pamphilj to enhance and promote the territory and the historical and cultural heritage of the sites connected with the Floridi Doria Pamphilj families through art and music.

Opening times: Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
